Sarang Wildlife Sanctuary is a unique jungle lodge built on isolated jungle property of 18.1 acres. Each cottages is designed in the traditional Tharu cottage manner. Sarang Wildlife Sanctuary is fully self contained, and owns its own boats and off road vehicles to ensure that all transfers and activities operate smoothly. Sarang Wildlife Sanctuary offers various accommodation packages with flexible options and can cater for group booking the client’s requirements. Sarang’s concept is built on conservation, responsible tourism and a commitment to local communities, with the vision of eco-tourism in the jungle of Chitwan National Park. Sarang is built to lead and promote attractive, active movements that advocate conservation and sustainable tourism within the Chitwan National Park.
Cuisine Sarang offers a delightful variety of cuisines to suit our international guests, as well as traditional Nepali food. You wouldn’t want to miss the Samsara Bar where one can enjoy variety of cocktails in a stunning jungle environment.
Accomodation Sarang has 24 deluxe rooms, nestled in the jungle as either individual or two in one private villas. Each room has its own balcony with views of Chitwan National Park Jungle, and hence one may glimpse wild animals. All room have attached bathrooms with 24 hour hot and cold shower and Air Conditioner.
Activities Sarang has a range of activities from the cultural to the more adventurous. These include; Elephant Safari, Jeep Safari, Tharu Village Walk, Jungle Walk, Bird Watching, Canoeing, Elephant Bathing, Tharu Cultural Dance, and our informative Slide Presentation.
Getting to Sarang Wildlife Sanctuary By Surface: A pleasant five hours drive by car or bus on the Kathmandu – Narayanghat highway follows the Trishuli River offering you a continually changing landscape, from the mountains of the Himalayas to the plains of the Terai. One can board a comfortable luxury tourist bus in Thamel or Kesar Mahal or Kantipath around 7:00 am in the morning.
By Air: Just half hour flight brings you from Kathmandu to Bharatpur, where you will be greeted by our staff and driven to the resort.

- Arrivals at Sarang Wildlife Sanctuary.
- Upon arrival short description about the program and room will be signed.
- Refreshmnet
- Guest will be taken for elephnat safari to explore the jungle and wildlife.
- Back to resort.
- Dinner will be served shortly.
- Over night stay.
DAY 2

- Early morning wake up call.
- Breakfast.
- Guest will be taken to Jungle Walk Inside the national park where you can see different types of birds,plants if lucky rhino bathing.
- Lunch will be served and you can have some rest.
- After lunch guest will be taken to canoeing at Rapti river to see aquatic birds,crocodiles,gharials animals of river bank and see the riverside sunset.
- Return to resort.
- At evening you can enjoy Tharu Tribal Dance.
- Dinner
- Overnight stay at Sanctuary.
DAY 3
- Wake up call.
- Breakfast
- You will be taken for jungle drive inside the national park where you can see different types of birds,animals plants.
- Lunch will be served and you can have some rest at sanctuary.
- After Lunch guest have an option to go on a birdwatching tourist on forest or take a cultural tour of Tharu village.
- Dinner
- Overnight stay at sanctuary.
